The Middle Euphrates Technical University is an Iraqi public educational institution established in 2014-2015.

The university has achieved advanced rankings in global classifications (601+ in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2025).

The Middle Euphrates Technical University strives to be a beacon of beneficial knowledge for the promising generation of tomorrow, enabling them to enter the workforce and contribute to building the nation with efficiency, excellence, innovation, and modernization.

It also aims to be a leading global center for scientific research and an effective base for serving and leading society, contributing to sustainable development and the scientific development of its students.

The university is committed to developing its infrastructure to create an attractive learning environment for students and to contributing both locally and globally to enriching knowledge and science, actively participating in all endeavors that serve society and humanity.

LOCATION

Its main campus is located in the Najaf Governorate, and it comprises colleges and technical institutes distributed across five governorates (Babylon, Najaf, Karbala, Qadisiyah, and Muthanna). Previously, it was affiliated with the Technical Education Authority.
